Monkey 2

I couldn't resist posting another monkey shot from the Dakshineswar Kali temple. I was close enough to these guys that they could have slapped me or taken the camera out of my hand if they wanted to. But I was ready for a fight.

You can see the other guy here.

He looks like a cheeky bugger! Where is Dakshineswar Kali temple?

Lovely portrait!!! smile
Charles Dastodd: Thanks! grin
Really, he is thoughtful!

I'm sorry my absence these days, but in Spain celebrates the giving of gifts to children as the end of Christmas (Reyes Magos - Epiphany). I have three small children and I had extra work.
Charles Dastodd: No problem, thanks for coming by smile I have been very absent myself as I was trying to wrap up my trip to India only to be delayed twice on the way back to Chicago, first for 14 hours in Delhi and then overnight at JFK after missing my connecting flight. It has been a miserable 3 days of travel and to top it all off I had my camera stolen in Delhi. I am heartbroken but I will survive.
hEY THANKS! Hpe you like my pther snaps too. Taken the spiders shot while on a picnic in an island. It was a small spider really but the nest was huge and my camera did the zooming work for me! If you want you can visit my website too. Its www.lifeasitis.tk

You can't help but laugh at them, Charles. I know...that's not nice, but they look so serious.
Lovely capture. I like his expression!
The light and composition are wonderful...great shot!
They can be so naughty but they look so cute!
I love the light through his hair/fur.
Was this handsome fellow posing for everyone like that, Charles, or just for you?

Glad you didn't lose your camera or get into a fight. These chaps are strong and can do a lot of damage.

Great capture, though.
Charles Dastodd: Thanks - I was sort of suprised that they were just sitting so calmly and let me walk up to them. I have friends who have had these guys steal things right off of them so I felt lucky to catch them at such a quiet moment. smile
