Heading to the Lift

There were not too many skiers the day I went up to Park City as you could tell from the empty lift picture from 2 days ago. It was a rather warm spring day, the snow was melting, and I think people were staying away from the slopes in the hope that some fresh snow would soon come.

I learn something new every day...previously I thought those slabs of wood were worn on the bottoms of the shoes!

The snow serves as a nice contrast in this capture. Looks like he might be "calling it a day."

He seems to be showing some disgust with the snow cover

I'm guessing wet snow is not the best of skiing conditions, Charles, right? But those who are addicts will take anything, I'm sure. Good ski angle for this image. smile

Oh, I wish I could enjoy that temperature for just a moment! I hope he enjoys the way down more than the hike to the lift! smile

Nice picture at the end of ski season, we feel the soft snow and the sun begins to heat up!
you are all in winter mood
The light and color are fabulous Charles!!
He looks extremely purposeful. Nice shot!
Like this!
I wouldn't imagine it being warm, cuz of his outfit!

It's always sad when the snow starts melting..it takes the fun out of snowboarding(in my case)
But on the other hand, I can imagine people longing for some warmer weather!

I really like most of your pictures & this one is very good but sometimes it feels as if they are a bit too saturated - perhaps it is my screen, actually?
Nice candid capture Charles!
For the skiers I hope they had more snow, nice candid Charles smile

Is that you in the picture? Superb picture, home snow disappeared. Good day.
very nice image
The keen ones will have a go,whatever the weather Charles.
I like how the skies are making a nice diagonal in this picture...if it was really warm he should be skiing in his shorts wink
Great capture! That snow looks pretty sloppy - it doesn't look very good for skiing.
Splendid framing on this, Charles.
great shot Charles
