photoblog image Costa Rican Wildlife

Costa Rican Wildlife

Taken on my twilight tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Costa Rica. It took me quite a while to get this shot. The little guy would not come out of his hole. But we finally convinced him that there was an insect waiting for him if he would make an appearance. He stepped out waited for a bit while I took his picture. Then realizing that there were no insects he slowly backed into the hole.

For more animal shots from my trip go here.
